A RECIPE FOR NOVEMBER
November is all about preparation for the busy holiday season. It's also a time to give thanks when gathering with family and friends, greeting them with warm smiles and hopeful hearts.
Below is one of our favorite recipes that's been in our family for decades, and sadly, there are never any leftovers.
Escalloped Pineapple
4 cups fresh bread cubes (white or brioche)
3 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup melted butter
1 #2 can Pineapple chunks, drained
(#2 can is 20 ounces)
Mix all ingredients together and pour into a greased baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, uncovered.
The simple gift of time spent together is a kindness so deep that it cannot be measured.
Happy Thanksgiving from Caloosa Water Wear.
